Every Thursday night from 9-12 at Farwell and friends on middlebelt rd. just north of ann arbor trail on the west side is the Joe Lagracie band, if you've never seen these guys your in for a musical treat. Everybody in the band probably has at least 30 years or better behind them playing. Joe is lead guitar and vocals for the Jamie Coe band and brings a group of friends for some serio,us jamming, Curtis Sumpter sings and joins in percussion, Mike Ferris simply tortures his guiter as well as Joe, fantastic keyboards with Daryll ( also from the jamie coe band ) He has several people as guests sit in for sets just to jam awile every night. Last thursday saw some awesome sax blair out as well as the keyboard player from Molly Hatchet sit in for a set,holy crap could that guy play. Every Thursdays a differant experiance cause you never know what big name from the detroit scene is gonna jump in.
