The 2018 Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show, the premier foodservice industry trade in the Southeastern United States, will run from September 6th through 8th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The trade show expects to attract 450 exhibitors and more than 8,000 attendees. Registration is now open, make sure you register today before the price increase on August 3rd! 

There is an exciting new development for 2018, Healthy Food Expo Florida will be co-located with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show. You will only need one badge for both shows to check out the latest offerings in healthy food for the restaurant industry. The shows will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 6th and 7th, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 8th.

The 2018 Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show will feature approximately 450 exhibitors that will fill the convention hall with the latest products and innovations for the food service industry! The product showcase special event will allow all to see the newest items on the market and some before they are fully on the market. There will be a chance for attendees to vote on Best Product of the Show! 

One of the events that sounds like it will be a lot of fun to watch is the Rapid Fire Challenge: chefs compete using chicken, honey and beer on National Beer Lover's Day (Sept 7th) to see who can make the most creative and fun dish for $1,000 and gain exposure to all the 8,000 plus attendees and media outlets in attendance .

“This year’s show is poised to be our best yet,” said Tom Loughran, Vice President for the Clarion UX Food and Beverage Portfolio. “Foodservice professionals from throughout the Southeast will be able to experience and immerse themselves in the newest trends including a focus on healthy food, as well as interact with over 450 exhibitors throughout both of the shows. Our educational program continues to grow, and attendees will walk away with exciting new skills and knowledge to bring to back to their businesses.”

Other featured events include the Foodservice Council For Women, dedicated to helping women in the industry network. There will be ice carving demonstrations, awards, presentations and demonstrations each day of the show!  Exhibitor pavillions have been organized with similar products, so make the most of your time on the trade show floor without spending an hour looking for one vendor!

There is an excellent education program at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show where you can receive those CE hours from the American Culinary Federation. Classes and trainings range from boosting beverage sales to ways to build loyalty among your staff and many more.
