Perfect Plain Brewing Co. is ecstatic to once again join forces with Pensacon for five nights of themed decor, beer, cocktails and fun.
Perfect Plain will be transformed into J. R. R. Tolkien's beloved legendarium, Middle Earth, Wednesday, February 20 through Sunday February 24. Frolic through The Shire while drinking our collaboration beer with Pensacon, Hairy-Con Man Imperial Stout, walk the path Mordor while sipping on firey Grog, or relish in Rivendell's beauty while imbibing in Miruvor, a warm and fragrant cordial of the Elves made from the honey of the undying flowers in the gardens of Yavanna. Experience the magic of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit all weekend long in our Taproom.
“We’re all about positive impact for our city. It’s why partnering with Pensacon is so important to us every year.” CEO and co-founder D.C. Reeves said. “Pensacon creates vibrancy for our community, and we’re always looking to do the same: showcase memorable beer and an incredible experience in Pensacola. We’re excited for February.”
Our collaboration bottle with Pensacon, Hairy-Con Man, will be released on February 7 at the official Pensacon kick-off party. This limited-release bottle will be available until it's sold out. “Our new bottle release tradition means that every Pensacon fan can enjoy Perfect Plain, then bring Pensacola home with them, too,” Reeves said.
"The Hairy-Con Man Imperial Stout is our nod to the intentionally hand crafted wizardry put into this official Pensacon release. This chocolate riddled concoction slumbered in freshly emptied bourbon barrels for an extended time and was then laid to rest on coffee beans and cocoa nibs. It comes to you not a minute too late, but precisely when it was intended to," Head Brewer Brett Schweigert said.
