Description
This family event is a great alternative to the traditional trick-or-treat for Halloween with COVID precautions in place.
Event Details
Trunk-or-Treat at Potential Church is a great alternative to the traditional trick-or-treat for Halloween. Instead of kids going door-to-door to get candy, they walk through our parking lot and go trunk-to-trunk. All trunks will be decorated and themed out, enhancing the family fun atmosphere.
Due to COVID-19, Trunk-or-Treat will look a little different.
Guests will be required to wear masks, including children. We encourage parents to have their children dress up with costumes, but make sure they are able to wear their face mask or a face shield. To help with social distancing, we will be maintaining the flow of guests through the trunks in one direction in order to maintain consistent movement. This, together with the distance between trunks, will allow guests to remain 6-10 feet from the groups around them. Groups will be limited to 10, or fewer, people of the same family or friends of the family.
Volunteers are required to wear masks (and gloves when necessary). Volunteers will follow Social distancing guidelines to include the spacing between our trunks. This will allow for guests to practice social distancing as they go from trunk-to-trunk. Volunteers will have their temperature checked before volunteering.
