The Justin Sisson 5k is an annual race held to honor the life and legacy of an FSU Alumni and Army brother that made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our country. 2LT Justin Sisson graduated from the FSU's Army ROTC program in 2012, and was KIA in Afghanistan in 2013. Justin's legacy continues through this annual 5k race, as well as the through the Justin Sisson Scholarship Fund, which benefits deserving Army ROTC cadets.
The 3.1 mile route will begin and end on FSU Langford Green, on the south side of Doak Campbell Stadium. Early online registration is encouraged, but runners will be able to register on race day. Complimentary food and snacks will be provided before and after the race. T-shirts will be included with each ticket, as well as extra shirts available online ("Shirt Only" ticket).
