Right here in this very unique area of North Florida, we are privileged to sit on top a wonderful labyrinth of limestone that carries water into one of the world’s largest springs – the Wakulla. This unique tour traces the amazing journey of our precious water southward from Tallahassee into world famous Wakulla Springs. Peer into the underground aquifer that supplies our drinking water though pristine sinkholes not accessible to the public. The tour provides expert information into how activity within a Springs Basin affects the Springs, our aquifer, and our drinking water. A journey that everyone who lives in our beautiful Big Bend region should experience! Car caravan tour departs from Cascades Park and ends at Wakulla Springs State Park. $18 per person, $10 students.
