Thai Yoga Massage - Valentine Edition

Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 2:00 - 4:00pm.
$45 per person, space limited to 12 people (6 pairs).
Join us in a most special Pre-Valentine's Day couples Thai Yoga Massage Class! This class will be focusing on massaging hands, arms, feet, legs and teach stretching sequences that both partners can do together. Afterwards will be a centered breathwork meditation designed to connect deeper with you and your partner. Snacks afterwards w/ tea.
This is a partner assisted practice so sign up with someone you feel comfortable touching and being *very* close to (partners will NOT be randomly assigned in class- come with your partner).
What Is Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai Massage is often referred to as " lazy yoga" which uses a combination of passive stretching, compression, pulling & rocking movements with positions similar to yoga. This class is designed to teach you how to alleviate tension, increase range of motion of muscles and loosen stiff joints, creating an overall feeling of balance for the mind body & spiritual body.
What You Will Learn: Body Awareness, Body Mechanics, Leverage & Breathwork
Preparing For Class: It's recommended to eating light before class, wearing comfy loose-fitting clothes. Bring a plush mat that's 1 to 3 inches thick depending on your comfort needs. Memory foam or even a couple thick blankets work perfectly, and pillows work for bolstering legs and neck. Yoga Mats Alone Aren't Comfortable Enough.
Contradictions: If you are someone with heart disease, current infections or pregnancy this class is not for you. This is a class with limited participants of up to 12 people to keep it fun and engaging. Thai Yoga Massage is partner-based class so you will need to find another person prior to registration.
How We Teach Thai Massage: The teacher will demonstrate a move and then visit every partner to help correct posture, form, pressure and breathwork.
