Team ShallowTails... Growing up in Alabama, bass fishing is what we did. When I moved to the coast in the late 80's I was fortunate to become friends with an avid inshore fisherman, he taught me the ins and outs of how to catch Redfish. As my passion grew for inshore fishing, my youngest son Michael, who at the time was just 4 years old fell in love with it too. Now Michael is 17 years old, a high school quarterback and my Redfish tournament fishing partner... Team ShallowTails was born! Redfish Tours... Michael and I are members of the Emerald Coast Redfish Pro Series Tour, the GoPro Redfish Tour and the IFA Redfish Tour. In all, we fished 13 tournaments in 2013 finishing in the TOP 10 in each tournament we fished. Michael and I finished 11th overall for the Team of the Year after missing the year ending Championship due to Michael being injured in a game. In 2014, we were proud to announce we had joined Skeeter Boats Pro Staff and Team Panama Jack, we fished from our incredible Skeeter SX200 powered by Yamaha and along our other wonderful sponsors Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchors, ZMan, Minn-Kota, Shimano, Baytek Performance Rods, Lowrance, Navionics, MirrOlure, and PowerPro. With the support of our sponsors Michael and I had our best year yet - two wins and Finished 8th for Team of the Year! We are already scheduled to fish in over a dozen events throughout the Emerald Coast in 2015, as well as several other tournaments from Louisiana to the East Coast of Flo
