Rosemary Beach
About Rosemary Beach
Rosemary Beach is a beach town on Santa Rosa Island in Gulf Shores, Alabama. It was the brain child of real estate developer Duane Hagadorn and his wife Margaret. The town is named after a bush with pink flowers known as Rosemary that was planted along the sidewalks. In 2005, Forbes Magazine ranked Rosemary Beach at number 22 among America's Best New Towns. Rosemary Beach is also home to El Santo Cantina, an authentic Mexican restaurant located on Perdido Key just across from beaches and Blue Crab Trading Company, a seafood market and restaurant located on Perdido Key just steps away from white sandy beaches
