East Bay Oyster Company is a HACCP certified wholesale seafood dealer and retail seafood market. We shuck and pack our own Apalachicola Bay oysters harvested from the beautiful, clean waters of Apalachicola Bay. We also sell fish, crab, shrimp and other jewels from our waters and surrounding areas.
Although we are a small company, our heritage in the seafood industry runs deep. Both Earl and Ginger are third generation "seafooders". Like most native seafood workers, Earl has shrimped, fished and oystered these waters from the time he was a young boy. Working in his parents seafood house and retail market for most of his life, Earl decided he wanted to try something different.
After a few years, Earl returned to the seafood industry and decided to follow his dreams and the footsteps of his parents, to open his own business. From there, East Bay Oyster Company was "born".
With the help of our daughter, Kristin and her husband, Andy, we carry on the family tradition, teaching them the hard way of a "seafood life" and making them the fourth generation in this business. We hope you give us the opportunity to serve you! :)
