Blue Tavern is a bar/coffeehouse/music venue in Midtown within easy walking distance from Levy and Lafayette Park neighborhoods. Serving beer, wine, coffee, tea, and sodas -- a perfect quiet spot to enjoy conversation, reading, art, without TV or canned music.

NOW SERVING FOOD: Menu includes New Orleans style red-beans-and-rice with andouille sausage, vegan soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, grilled ham / cheese sandwiches, and pressed Cuban sandwiches all at very affordable prices.

***Because we are now serving food, outside food cannot be brought in. Thanks for understanding.

Parking available onsite, street-side or in public parking lots. Bike rack accessible next to the back door, well lit.
