In this follow-up to last year’s sold-out session, you’ll get lots of dos & don’ts and have a chance to ask questions about the writing process, pitching ideas, etc.On the publishing side, you’ll meet Matthew Holt and Brian Neill, both from John Wiley & Sons. Matthew is Senior Vice President and Executive Publisher at Wiley, where he runs the trade division. He publishes business, finance, accounting, technology, teacher education and the Dummies brand. Brian Neill, Editor at Wiley, works closely with a team of editors, editorial assistants, and business development personnel to make sure all products make business sense and are profitable. He also oversees a list of books by a number of authors and experts in the business and nonprofit space. Many of their books have appeared on various best-seller lists.You’ll also learn helpful tips and tactics from bestselling author Quint Studer, whose 10th book The Busy Leader’s Handbook: How to Lead People and Places That Thrive is coming October 1. DC Reeves, owner of Plain Brewing Company and author of The Microbrewery Handbook: Practical Tips, Tools, and Lessons Every Microbrewer Should Know will talk about turning his passion and expertise into a book. Each attendee will receive a book from the authors.
