Celebrate the holidays with a beloved masterpiece, as the Choral Society presents excerpts from Handel’s "Messiah"
The beautiful Cathedral of the Sacred Heart provides an ideal setting for the Choral Society's performances of excerpts from "Messiah" and other choral works for the season by Felix Mendelssohn, Antonio Vivaldi, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Harold Darke.
Artistic Director Peter Steenblik will conduct our 100-voice chorus and chamber orchestra, and, as soloists, we’ll welcome four of Pensacola Opera’s Jan Miller Studio Artists: Haley Abramowitz, Kayla Nanto, Randy Ho, and Scott Lee.
Join us for a free preview of the concert on Zoom on Sunday, November 20 at 7 PM. It will include a 30-minute presentation illustrated with musical excerpts, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
