3RD ANNUAL FLORIDA RUN FOR THE FALLEN TO HONOR AND REMEMBER FLORIDA MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS WHO DIED AS A RESULT OF SERVING DURING THE WAR ON TERROR.

Tribute to Florida Military Fallen Heroes and Their Families. Relay Team to cover specific miles for each Fallen Service Member in Tribute Run from Florida Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Tallahassee, Florida to Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall, Jacksonville, FL. ??
The run team will stop at each “Hero Marker” HM (mile marker) to give individual tribute to waiting Gold Star family members, friends and comrades. The goal of the event is to create a 170-mile memorial trail through Florida to honor and read the names of over 1000 Fallen Heroes.

Day 2 DAY - February 11 | 70 miles | Hero Markers 58-114
• 7:00 AM Start – Madison to Lake City

DAY 3 - February 12 | 30 miles | Markers 115-147
• 7:00 AM Start – Lake City to Jacksonville
• END 1PM– Closing Ceremony at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall, Jacksonville, FL

Florida Run for the Fallen begins at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023, next to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the State Capital in Tallahassee with a brief Run Start Opening Ceremony. Guest Speaker TBD to kick-off the 3-day 170-mile run, which travels through the counties and cities of Leon, Jefferson, Madison, Suwannee, Columbia, Baker, Nassau, and Duval all along Highway 90 and finish at the Veterans Memorial Wall in Jacksonville, Florida to finish at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2023, followed by an End of Run Ceremony.
