Tallahassee is not only home to Florida State University but also great seafood, being located roughly 30 minutes from the coast. For some of the best seafood in Tallahassee, check out this full list.

Red Snapper Seafood & More

One of only two places in Tallahassee where you can find fresh crawfish, Red Snapper doesn't disappoint and is worth the trip to the southside area. They serve up Vietnamese flare with their seafood, making much of their Vietnamese dishes equally as good as their seafood dishes.

From blue crab to snow crab legs, Red Snapper Seafood really does have much more than seafood, and it's all delicious. Pro tip: get a side of their egg rolls. They're definitely worth trying, too!

Wahoo Seafood Grill

Wahoo Seafood Grill has a few locations throughout Florida, and it's no surprise as to why. From the crab bisque to the boom boom shrimp tacos, Wahoo serves up divine seafood.

One thing that shouldn't be missed is their "superboil." This huge serving of seafood is not only tasty but reasonably-priced and definitely Instagram-worthy! Wahoo also has a full-service liquor bar with plenty of handcrafted cocktails available.

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille

Harry's also has a few locations across Florida, but, unlike with Wahoo, Harry's offers a more formal dining experience. With white table cloths and a dimly-lit ambiance, Harry's is perfect for date nights and special occassions.

Their seafood is concocted with the flavor of New Orleans in mind. Their jambalaya pasta, etouffee, and shrimp and grits are by far their most popular seafood dishes. Although the prices are a little bit steeper than the other places on this list, their food certainly shouldn't be missed out on.
